Diversity scholarships are offered to interested individuals who would like to participate in TAS Programs (Annual Meeting,  Archeology Academies, and Field School).  Priority is given to individuals who are of African/African-American/Black, Asian, Hispanic/Latino/Chicano heritage. The chosen individuals will receive the same stipend and offerings provided to the Native American and Student Scholarship recipients. Applicants need not be students to be eligible.​

All Diversity Scholarship recipients will be registered as an individual or student TAS member for the current year, if not already a member, and will receive the Bulletin of the Texas Archeological Society and Texas Archeology newsletter.
